Actually, Domingo, all the while I have known you, you have litigated the life out of the truth and have shaped it to suit you. You shape shift even better than Obama. If you read the book I wrote about lawyers, you would speak differently about it, if you were sane. But don’t take the trouble, just look at the title: KILL ALL THE LAWYERS? Notice the question mark at the end. A full chapter, “Don’t Kill Your Lawyer”, was devoted to being a helpful client, instead of a roaring pain in the ass your lawyer wished he/she had never met. Looks to me, Domingo, you suffer from the same color vision defect ailing the Zimmerman Special Prosecutor.

One would not think it would take a brilliant legal mind to know you cannot hold Harvard responsible for what any professor says.

Dershowitz may or may not have gone too far in accusing the SP of a crime but her complaint is with Dershowitz.

Moreover I doubt that a lawyer who commits a civil libel has violated any disciplinary rule. This might be worth researching (I have not) because if she has threatened AD with disciplinary action without any basis for it that simply says something else about where she is coming from.

I would not presume to judge that she is motivated by her skin color. Any judge would no doubt be upset if accused as she was by AD, but what is truly bothersome is her off-the-wall reaction to it.

I read that Dershowitz has been teaching criminal law at Harvard for 50 years. Consider this excerpt from Wikipedia:

This is not a screeching right-wing White-Supremacist lawyer, Tim. Just the opposite, this is a screeching left-wing Jewish lawyer. An ACLU kind of lawyer, who would jump on a hate crime in a heartbeat.

When a lawyer like this takes out after the little girl in dirty diapers, she and everyone else, including youse and mese, Tim, should stand up and take notice.

I sort of bet Dershowitz would love for Harvard to be sued by the little girl in dirty diapers. It would spice up his legal monk life and give him mucho fodder for a new book.

I’m surprised, elder to me Ron, all the stupid things you have seen done in your life, all the stupid things you read that I write about Florida Keys goings on, that you are surprised by anything human beings do. What do I know, maybe Dershowitz made it all up? I sent him a note with the link to this particular post and heard nothing back. If he made it all up, guess what? He don’t get to teach at Harvard any more. He gets the living shit sued out of him in sho nuff real libel suit. He might well get disbarred. He might well get prosecuted for ciminal libel. Now wouldn’t that make for interesting reading?

Received a forward from a right-wing acquaintance in Birmingham. I vouch not for the photo in the forward below, which looks nothing like Trayvon, as far as I can see. However, some of the commentary agrees with my sentiments, except for the ending and the bold-face lie that there is “No racism here”. Who sent this out, and who forwarded it to others, very much want to further divide this already fractured nation. Who started this, could simply have stuck to the facts, but who started it up is too fucked up in white supremacy to simply stick to the facts, as is anyone who forwarded it. Still looks to me America is headed for a very bad civil uprising over this horrible tragedy, regardless of how it ends in court.
